Step by step
- 1Click the cell where you want the total.
- 2Type =SUM( then select the range, e.g. B2:B100, and close the bracket.
- 3Press Enter. Use =SUM(B:B) to total the whole column.
Tips
- To total only rows that meet a condition, use SUMIF or SUMIFS instead.
