Step by step

  1. 1Divide the part by the total: =B2/C2 (for example, sales ÷ target).
  2. 2Select the cell and apply Percent format (Ctrl+Shift+5).
  3. 3The decimal now shows as a percentage, e.g. 0.25 becomes 25%.
